Golf Club Impressions

Went to golf galaxy to test out some clubs today,

Taylormade R11, really surprised me today, for a GI club, it has amazing feel. The ball speed is comparable to all the other clubs i tested. Really no clubs stood out in distance. But i think Taylormade has gotten a winner here, its a very very solid club, and for $799, is a great price

Ping G20, your typical ping club. Really good forgiveness, toe shots went as far as the shots in the center, feel was kinda dull, but for $699, you will get a club that will go the distance you want, even on mishits, but don't go looking for a club that will tell you if you did hit it on the toe

Ping i20, a players club for ping, they really need to start mixing there metals, maybe get a forged insert, this club's feel isn't that impressive, and there wasn't really anything special about this club to me.

Mizuno MP59, here is a great club, the feel is so soft, and the ball just launches off the clubface. Its great to set up to, but for $999.99 your paying for what you get.

Titleist AP1 712's, matches up with the R11 with feel, but is the only set of clubs to really have an advantage in distance to the other clubs. A great club, and for $799, a great price.

For irons, i am thinking of the R11's or AP1... Mizuno's are nice, but the feel wasn't that far from these two, and the performance wasn't that far above to grant $200 dollars.

I am thinking Titliest because of there custom options in there shafts..
