Who would you enjoy hearing in the booth, besides those who've already made the transition?

Rocco Mediate, Tom Pernice Jr., Rich Beem, Davis Love or Billy Andrade

Rocco has already done some TV time and seemed to do fairly well. Pernice, Beem and Andrade seem to be level headed while being able to speak out and Davis Love has the voice for it and comes from some deep golf roots.

I would love to see another good funny announcer in the vein of Feherty come out of the player ranks.

That's a pretty good list you have there. Rocco I think would be great and I think he'd add that humor you're looking for. Beemer and Andrade too. I think Love gives the name recognition but he sort of comes off as bland to me. Maybe get him in the booth and a different personality would come out. Another I'd add would be Brad Faxon. He comes on the local radio shows around here sometimes and is pretty insightful and has a sense of humor. You never really know though.. Zinger and Faldo I think are excellent and I don't know if I would have thought that before the fact.

After just watching that Precept commercial with Paula Creamer and Nick Price, I had to dig up this thread. I think Nick may have a future as an announcer. He seems to do pretty well in front of the camera but who knows.
