Cleveland CG16's, regular flex steel shafts here....just started playing seriously again after a 10 year off period....discovered the beauty of hybrids as well....so in essence I got 2 Cobra Baffler H-Rail hybrids although not technically this year....a 3 and 5....man I LOVE those clubs!

I bought a set of Callaway Razr X irons (5-PW, SW).   I only started playing last October and had been playing a set of cheap clubs I bought just to see if golf was really something I wanted to do.   Since I am now hooked like a trophy bass, I decided to get a set of decent irons.   I am definitely glad I did!

Razr Fit Xtreme 9.5* Matrix Black Tie shaft, Diablo Octane 3 wood 15*, Razr X Hybrid 21*, Razr X 4-SW, Forged Dark Chrome 60* lob wedge, Hex Chrome & Hex Black ball

I forgot to add, I also had those clubs gripped with Lambkin Crossline jumbo grips.

I'm waiting for the new Adams Super fairway to come out to try, depending on how that goes, it'll be either that or a fast 12 3 wood that I'll pick up....

Ended up keeping my F11 3 wood and just reshafted it with a Harrison Saga instead of picking up a new one. Bought a 18* Adams Pro Black hybrid to use in place of a 2 iron or 5 wood. First hybrid in the bag, so far its OK, but time will tell. Picked up a 3rd Puglielli wedge to match the 2 I bought earlier in the year. So I have a 54*, 56*, and a 60* to mix in depending on my long club setup (Hybrid + 54* & 60* or GW + 56* & 60*). Eyeing up a new YES! putter, but will have to wait a few more weeks before they're released. Would be the final piece to my all Adams bag.

    • I've had this one since 2021.  Amazon.com No complaints.  I had to reglue the little Velcro tabs onto the yellow foam guide thingies. But that's not a big deal. The Velcro came off almost immediately and I put them back on using super-glue and they've been fine ever since. I've hit a lot of balls off this in my garage and I have no complaints.
    • I've been thinking about buying a hitting mat for home indoors use. I currently only got a small patch of some mat I bought years ago and stand on a wooden platform. It'd be nice having a mat to stand on and hit from. After some searching, I see Fiberbuilt often being praised. Not sure if I can get hold of it easily here, and buying internationally can get expensive for a mat that's already quite pricey (~$800). The Wittek Quattro is also usually favorably mentioned, and at half the price (~$400) of the Fiberbuilt. Anyone have experince with this mat? Any other suggestions?
    • It just occurred to me that the last time I was serious about golf, my woods were made of….wood! Also interestingly (to me anyway) as I shopped for “woods”, mostly on eBay, I found that all the clubs in really nice cosmetic/aesthetic shape (good finish, nice club face, good grip) were woman’s clubs. Seems they either take really good care of them or don’t use them much.    And lastly, for now anyway, I went to a range today that has Top Tracer monitors at all the stations - another “new” development that may have been around for quite a while, but this was a first for me. I found it useful although I’m sure I only scratched the surface of its capabilities.
    • Agreed. For me, the feel was introduced to get the arms moving down from the top. It wasn't necessarily a "get it in front of the hip" explanation as the correct position but more for an exaggerated feel to get rid of the earlier issue.
