With my irons Im aware of my club face through the entire backswing and hit squarely but with driver and 3wood I lose it and hit all over the place. Any thoughts or tricks I can use.

I finally figured it out the other day. I focused on my right hand trigger finger to keep me square at impact. I had always been told to focus on the back of my left hand but it never felt comfortable. Now I can start to enjoy playing this game.

Great. Keep at it. If there's one truism in golf, it's that you can find the "secret" and it'll last about a week before you need the next "secret." At every level. Maybe until you reach Ben Hogan's level, that is.
