My first interest in golf came from my former (then current) roommate's Tiger Woods 2004 on Xbox.

yeah, the game is really fun. I am like halfway thru my career of making the PGA tour. Your gotta go through Q-School and beat all these challenges. It isn't that easy.

I have '07 for the PC. I downloaded '06 way back when it came out...and I got '00 as part of a package some years back.

It changes very little from year to year, but I miss the driving range mode from '00. (Easter egg...bean the range picker three times and it explodes.)

I have up to 2007 for PS2 it gets prett easy though after a while, but also annoying because you will shoot like a 53 and be up by 18 strokes and then when you go to the next round of that tournament the computer will all of a sudden have 3 stroke lead because they shot a 49. But I still love the game, I learned a lot about course managment and different shot types from the game though...

I like the TW game also, but does anyone have or played this one:

I had TW 2007 for Xbox 360. Sold the xbox to get a Wii. That's even more fun since you actually get to swing! Pretty fakey as far as distance, but realistic as that I hit a natural draw in real life and on the game. My buddy hits a slice in real life and an even bigger slice on the game. So far TW is the only game I've played on my Wii though.

No I have not, but it looks fun for the off season. It seems like it could help with your swing. I might have to try it out.

It really is amazing what one can learn about a sport through video games...case in point: Tiger Woods Golf and Madden Football

Posted
it really is crazy, you can see the game from a different perspective and then play it over and over without having to make much effort. that tiger woods game is one of the best golfing games i've played though, extremely realistic and fun to play

Unhappily, it makes you play by the rules. No kicking your ball out or improving your lie.

It also considers a road "unplayable", which is wrong - a road is an immovable obstruction, you get relief with no penalty - but in the game it's a stroke.

I love TW Golf 07. Last night I shot something crazy like -15. Had 3 hole in ones in one round.

I wish I could play like that...

I was hoping to get a general review from some that play 07 on the 360. I have heard from others that visually, it was the best they have seen, and the gameplay is alot better then 06. I also got a wii and playing it on the wii is prolly the most fun I have had in awhile.

Hey, I have only played the 2006 version of Tiger Wooks on the GameCube. I love the Tiger Woods Video game :) I have some nice hole in ones recorded on my memory card :) I think I have more hours in front of the gamecube than on the course to be honest..

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
