hey guys. i have never posted in this part of the forum but i kinda need some help. last wednsday i went with my team to hit some balls at the range. i belive we hit around 125 in about an hour or so. my shoulder hurt a little but i though i would sleep on it and it might go away. it felt better the next day and i went to practice like norma. on saturday i went to the range again with some of my family. i hit another 125. since sunday morning my right shoulder has been hurting on my backswing and when i carry my bag. i also have a bump on my shoulder (about mosquito bite sized) which i dont know is from carrying the bag or just completely unrelated. i have a match tuesday and would like to practice a little but idk if that is a good idea. any imput on what i should do or how to stretch out that part of the shoulder/back would help. the pain is in the right shoulder blade in the high upper right part of my back. any help would be great. thanks!

Ice, Ice, Ice.  Only do light stretching and maybe light swinging to loosen up your shoulder.  If it is a strain, time helps, so don't push recovery.  I wouldn't practice any full swings before the match, just short game.  Try not to lift or push anything with that arm too, like opening heavy doors.

On match day, take extra time to warm up and stretch.  The idea is to fully warm up the injured area before hitting a ball.  Impact is pretty intense on the muscle.  After the round, ice as soon as you can.  Keep this up until the pain subsides.
