I am a terrible slicer and I always lift my head up and I noticed in some swing videos of the pros that they keep there head down and rotate so well through impact. Does any one know any drills to help ingrain this into memory.

Just keep your damn head down....j/k! But I see people with this all the time that can not seem to stop which I do not understand. It does seem to be a problem. I occasionally look up but when I got into a round where I was doing it, it was because I was having a hard time see the ball after impact.

I just had to incorporate it into the preswing preparation. Spend the day focused on seeing the clubhead hit the ball and forget about anything else. Ask some one to watch the ball for you to help get your mind off of thinking you need to watch it. A round or two of this and hopefully you will habitually keep your head down.

"My ball is on top of a rock in the hazard, do I get some sort of relief?"

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

Not sure if many drills would exist that wouldn't simply be a device to touch your head against, and making sure to keep the contact through your swing. I had the same problem awhile back, and cannot even begin to explain the frustration. I just had to start clearing my head and only focus on where im looking. Try setting up your ball so you can read the logo. Keep eye contact with it until it's gone. But for the most part it's a mental thing.
