Bubba Watson winning shot! - Masters playoff

I wonder how much he would practice hitting a shot like that, or does he just see the shot in his mind and somehow, feel the way to pull off the shot? I also wonder, with the way Bubba has said his mind wanders, was it, in a strange way, easier for him to hit that shot rather than a shot from the middle of the fairway? What I mean is; Was it easier to hit a shot with only one option rather than having to choose a shot from many options? Regardless, it was probably the best shot I've ever seen.

I think Faldo  was commenting earlier how he'd watched Bubba on the range hitting huge (intentional)hooks/fades with his wedges.

they were talking about this at the interview. He can hit a straight shot, he just doesn't like to. He likes to curve the ball, he sees curves better. There was an article about people who see straight lines or curves, it was about putting. But, still to pull off that shot, just wow.
