I've been Playing Golf for: 2 years

My current handicap index or average score is: 20ish

My typical ball flight is: slice

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: slice/pull with longer clubs, inconsistent ball striking

Videos:

Shots either shoot off to the left or slice, especially the driver.

Thanks for taking a look!

Tons of potential! here's what I'm seeing. The club is getting way to inside way to fast. This means that you have to make a different motion from when you start taking the club back to when you finally get it to the top. Try keeping the club out in front of your more on the back swing. You can check this by making sure the butt of to club is pointing towards your stomach rather than the target. PM me if your not sure what I mean and best of luck.

Thanks! I'll give it a shot at the range today. It looks like my shoulders/hips do something funky right at the top, not sure what it is.

Here is round 2. Tried to keep the club a little more outside than it was. Also, looks like my shoulders are "dipping" a little bit right at the start of my downswing... any ideas?

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
