Taylormade RAC TP Iron Set

I can buy a set of TM RAC TPs for 150.  Do you guys think this is a good deal? Here are some pictures.  My only concern are the shafts.  They look slightly different from what I am used to seeing because they don't have the number on the label indicating their stiffness.  Is it a good deal?

Are these shafts real or fake? I need to know so I can buy the clubs tomorrow morning.

I think the heads themselves are worth 170 if they are in great condition.  The shafts look a little different then I have seen.  Normally you see the X after the project but I dont know.  Its a classified so does that mean you meet the guy somewhere.  If so you can at least look at them.

Yea I would meet him in person. He says they have played really good.  I figure I could buy them and then if they turn out to be fake I could probably sell them for what I paid for them.

yea.  I would do some research on the serial numbers for the irons.  I think you can call taylormade and give them the serial numbers which are normally on the hosel.  Just to make sure the irons are real.  The shafts, like i said before, are honestly replaceable when the price is 170

how much would it cost to replace a set of irons with project x shafts? with s300 shafts?

According to the 2012 GolfWorks catalog:

• PX Rifle 3-PW set costs $280
• PX Rifle Flighted 3-PW set costs $296
• TT DG S300 shafts would cost $18 each ($144 for eight)

The local golf shop might charge extra.

Also, labor for pulling the old shafts and installing the new one could cost $10-20 per iron. Then, add the cost of grips and labor for regripping.
