If you are ever in the Hershey PA area and your wallet is feeling a little thick, call up Wren Dale Golf Club and see if they have any tee times available. Yes- $85 dollars for a non member round is expensive. But it includes the cart and the range as well (I'm not a fan of upscale public courses nickel and diming people with a four dollar range ball bag).

The course is kept in incredible shape. Holes are exciting and involve many forced carries and water as well. I especially like hole 11, Hole 16, and Hole 6. Check out their website at Wrendalegolfclub.com.

I agree!!

I live about 15 miles away, and have played there once last year. We will hit it again this year. They started out as a semi-private, while offering memberships. They still offer golf memberships, but word is that the Hershey Trust bought them (they also own Hershey CC).

The course is designed by Hurzdan/Fry (sp?), and is in great shape. Now that Hershey is involved, I understand the trailer (pro shop) is being replaced by an actual clubhouse....

If the clubhouse turns out to be what the sketches show on the website, that might be one large piece of golf eye candy---and it isn't even green.
