anyone have tips on getting distance from ball? when i say distance i mean the distance between you and the ball when setting up.

It depends on many factors, if you are healthy with no ailments, no medical reasons that stop you from making a full turn and swinging and have a perfect setup have someone measure your distance for you, as each club will be different and different lies will be different set ups you will need a notebook and someone with nothing to do to record all the info while you get your stats. Have fun.

I just get into my stance and let my arms hang and where the head falls thats my distance. I just make sure my arms are lose and bent at the elbows quite a bit.

I just make sure my elbows are slightly bent and im not reaching out for the ball, even the slighest reach is not good.

It all depends on your clubs really, and if they are fitted you will follow the above instructions lol. Otherwise to hit the ball straight you need to rest the sole of the club flat on the ground, and set up from there.
