finally watched myself on video for the first time in a year and I realized that i am losing a lot of power by sliding my left foot on transition.

anyone have any tips that have worked for developing a stronger left side.

finally watched myself on video for the first time in a year and I realized that i am losing a lot of power by sliding my left foot on transition.

Start swinging from the other side! I would practice hitting balls with your left hand if you are right handed vice versa if you are left handed. I will hit 200 balls a week with just my left arm training and building up the flexability in the arm and shoulder. It really really helps, but you got to stick with it or your right arm with start to take over and start slicing and pushing shots.

Put a stick or a broken club in the ground on your left side, you should be able to complete a shot without moving the stick. Make sure you videotape yourself because you may try to avoid the stick and shift and stick on your right side.
