I'll check on my IV later today if I remember. I am not sure I've ever had to adjust it, but I must have, right?

I would assume as everyone has slightly different variances on eye relief.  I was checking out all the various sights and they all say there is a "clicking" diopter for the GX 3i..I tried turning th eyepiece but it does not want to budge..unless I'm baby-ing it.

Okay, called the guys at Leupold.  Turns out the diopter is very tight when they ship (makes sense).

Anyway, take a firm grasp of the rubber eyepiece and slowly turn in both directions (kinda like a rocking motion, back and forth)..after a bit it will loosen up and voila! The eyepiece should move in both directions (left and right) and it's very smooth..so nice.  You can feel the "click" but it's very muted and smooth..feels like your adjusting the heavy focus on fine lens..which it is right?

I don't know the technical term, but are you talking about the distance of your focus? I believe this is what I adjust when turning the eyepiece on my GXII. I keep mine fixed on best focus at around 140 yards.

Yes, more or less, the relief when you get looking through the eyepiece.  Mine was really stiff in the beginning to get it rotating.  Think I adjusted mine to around 165..closest thing I could range on in that distance..lol
