I have fallen into a severe slump. I have lost distance with all my clubs and feel no power in my down swing. The last few weeks I've added about 10 strokes per 9 holes. Here are some of my consistent problems: - weak slice with driver, ball flight is high and then turns right - 4 thru 7 irons: hitting thin shots to the right, some fat shots. Straight shots have major air time and not going as far - 8 thru wedges are very weak pop ups. Sometimes 8 and 9 irons go about 100 yds. I almost feel like that I cannot get off my right side. Should I take a break? I been playing golf 5 to 6 days a week this summer, along with range sessions. My body feels tired; could this have any affect on my ball striking problems? I have a lesson scheduled with a PGA professional one week from today. I hope he can diagnose the problem. The loss in swing speed really concerns me :~( I welcome any thoughts you guys may have.

sounds like you just flip at it and your timing is off lately.  I would love to be able to play golf that much but, I'm sure taking a couple days off even a week would help get you energized.
