After a two week break, the LPGA resumes its schedule this week with the playing of the Evian Masters Presented by Societe Generale. This is tournament number 15 of 27 on this year's schedule. Next year this tournament will be the tour's fifth major championship.

Last Year this tournament was won by Ai Miyazato. It was the second time she has won this event in the last 3 year's. Natalie Gulbis won this tournament in 2007.

My pick this week is for Paula Creamer to break into the 2012 winners circle. Stacy Lewis is my pick for runner-up.

I would sure like to see an American win and Stacy Lewis seems the most likely after two rounds.

Wow, Michelle Wie beat Yani Tseng. But the biggest news may be that Cheyenne Woods made her first pro cut. And after three rounds, she's just five shots off the lead.

Watched a few holes of round 3, played in light rain. Surprised to see so many rotund Asian ladies, even young girls with extra padding here and there.  Not that the Asian ladies were the only ones with 'wide bottoms' as some Westerners sported the same.  Looks like Volvick is a big golf name in Korea; i mean balls and equipment.

I think the winner is going to come from the penultimate group of Webb and Gulbis. They are only 1 shot back and played some of the best golf in round 3, while Park and Lewis looked very shaky coming down the back 9.
