I was down in hilton head when i had to play golf like i described, it was the ShipYard Golf course, it had a lot of holes that were short dog legs, then short approach shots. So i had to hit 3 wood, to 4 iron on some holes. I played pretty good that day, really discecting the course. Because i can play the bombers game, just tee up the ball, take the driver, smash it a ways down there and play short irons all day long. But it was really fun to try to think, Ok its 180 to the corner, i need to hit this iron. So, sometimes i look at a score card and see, ok this hole is 370 yards, i will hit my hybrid leaving me this club. So i try to plan out my round and see how it goes.

A fun one is, try to figure out which club you hit to give you the same club in on the approach, on as many holes as possible.

So lets say you got a club you hit 150, try to hit every drive to land next to the 150 marker, then play in. Just different games to make it fun, and make you think.
