Hello, am newbie about 3 months in, and feel really positive about my game and it's improvements... My driving though is like a toss of a coin, good or bad... One of my problems, is when I try and take what feels natural to me a backswing that is above my head (not parallel to the ground) but getting close, the swing plane goes all over the shop, and the shot is terrible!!, as compared to one much lower where I feel that I can be that little bit more consistant and straighter (hitting 200m on the full)...

My question is should I be practising the fuller or bigger swing plane, or focus on smaller swings with a driver?? I don't mind sucking for sometime for the longer view of improvement rather than a short term gain...

Love any thoughts here.

Cheers

Can you upload a video? I think I could help if I saw what your swing looked like.
