Hello, I am Looking for information on a Putter I purchased from a Gentleman in Moreno Valley California about 20 years ago (Leon Pounders) He said he bought it off of H.H. Jones (The Club Finder).
I have always wondered about the history of the putter, when it was made, what company made it, etc.
Leon told me it was Jerry Barbers personal putter which I had no reason to doubt but always did anyway.
The putter looks in shape much like an IMG Style or Wilson 8800 series,
It has 3 diamonds on the face in the center, near the toe on the face it is stamped Diamond Face, on the back near the toe it is stamped JERRY BARBER
On the top line there is a site line nearer the heel than center.
I am including some photo's of the putter so you can get a visual of it.
If you can share any information about it or can send me in the right direction to find out more I would greatly appreciate it Please reply to davidrietter@live.com or to ia8750@hotmail
Thank you to anyone who can help

Looks nothing like an 8800 series putter. I have an 8875 and an 8881, and the others ive seen look nothing like it.

In the Ogio Kingpin bag:

Titleist 913 D2 9.5* w/ UST Mamiya ATTAS 3 80 w/ Harrison Shotmaker & Billy Bobs afternarket Hosel Adaptor (get this if you don't have it for your 913)
Wilson Staff Ci-11 4-GW (4I is out of the bag for a hybrid, PW and up were replaced by Edel Wedges)
TaylorMade RBZ 5 & 3 Fairway Woods

Cobra Baffler T-Rail 3 & 4 Hybrids

Edel Forged 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64* wedges (different wedges for different courses)

Seemore Si-4 Black Nickel Putter

Yeah, most 8800 series are more rounded and the top line doesn't raise at the toe. I am just curious if anyone knows anything about the maker, when and etc.
