Mental Block

I have developed some sort of mental block while hitting indoors in a simulator. I don't know if I'm crazy or if others have this problem. I just can not simply hit the ball like I do outside. I have tested this by going into the store and hitting in the simulator before a round. Tops thins shanks you name it when I'm inside but after I went on to shoot my lowest round this year afterwards, an 80. Had wonderful ball striking and played well. As you can think this causes many hassles. It's gotten to the point where I'll buy used clubs from golfsmith take them straight to the range and return them if I don't like them. Golfsmith allows only 90% back within 10 days on used equipment. So I pay some money to test them, which shows how bad it has gotten. Does anybody else have the same problem or am I a mental midget?

Happened again today. Couldn't hit inside and shot an 81 Not sure if I should worry about it.

I had this problem a few years ago playing indoor golf.  For me it was because my alignment has never been straight and when I was boxed in a simulator "cube", I couldn't get comfortable aiming/aligning myself like I did outside.  If you play a draw or a fade and aim drastically one way or the other, it may feel weird on the sim.
