What do you mean controllable? The MC's are great. I was a price tag away from getting them over the Nike Pro Combos. They are surprisingly forgiving and have a pretty good feel. It all depends on whether you feel comfortable standing over them. The MC's are on the thin side and the burners are on the thick side. The long irons in the MC's would be more of a challenge to hit, so if you like those i would look at getting hybrid or cavity back replacements for the long irons. Just hit them both and find the right shaft that fits your game best.

same choice here, I figured I'm a 15, liked the forgiveness of the Burner's (plus I could use diff in price to get hybrids/wedge). They are a tad heavy compared to my really old Wilson's but I've gotten used to it.

    • Just want to share a quick update with everyone. I went to the range the week before last, even though I took it easy no significant pain occurred just a slight twinge when I swung my #4 hybrid. The most encouraging news was no soreness the next morning. However I think switching back to graphite shafts is definitely gonna happen, my mp15's were fitted with X shafts and having something lighter will help.
