53, weak legs, returning to movement after 5 years off due to illness. Got new clubs, practicing regularly, have had 3 lessons. BUT the big reason for lack of distance and cause of erraticism late in the round is lack of strength, stamina, and flexibility. These do not seem to be for sale at Golf Galaxy.......I "used" to be an ath-a-lete, but...

So I'm looking at amazon and see a Gary Player book "golf begins at 50", some stretching/drill books. Got about a 15 now (after 12 rounds so far this year), short distance but I can putt thank god, that do help.

So what resources should I check out? Thanks.
