(I've seen both extremes of putting. I've had long putts, and then my next shot was from a sand trap. On the other hand, I made a 50 footer when I was 7 - downhill, and several breaks. Unhappily, I think it's been all downhill since. Sometimes I seem to hole putts when I desperately need to save bogey, other times, I can't produce, and I'll fourputt.)

id have to say that is weird. If you had good putting your handicap would be around a 9-10 wouldnt it? Maybe you can actually see someone to get putting lessons.

Oh, I could be scratch if I could chip and putt. Easily. The problem this year is my handicap is going in the wrong direction. It's probably closer to 20 now.

Dent, I live in NW Minnesota (2 hours from Winnipeg) and I am 17 years old, so I can see where you are coming from. You should look at hitting up some of the courses in Brainerd, located in central minnesota. Google the brainerd golf trail, they have some amazing courses and it would probably be about a six hour drive from Winnipeg.

Mngolfer: thank you.. i will sure look that up, last year i did golf in minnesota. I golfed a course called The Wilds Golf Course near Mystic Lake I think, it was very nice. Awsome terrain.
