Bluebonnet Country golf course...I've played here six times in July and August of this year and I love this course.  It is really in good shape right now, I know it has a bit of a checkered history but man this course has a fun layout.

Driver: TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Superfast, 10.5*, Regular

5 Wood:  TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Superfast, 18*, Regular

Hybrid:  TaylorMade Rescue Mid 4, 22*

Blaketree National.  Great layout; last time I played it (about 4 years ago) the greens were perfect.

      Shot a 37 today! Palmer Course, PGA National. Really fun. 6/9 GIR, no lost balls. The double and the bogey were both three putts from like 35 feet or so.  The birdie at the last was really fun. I stood over that fifteen footer and thought wow I’m really about to make this, aren’t I? And I hearted it. Really fun. It’s like 9000 degrees outside but I battled through it well. Good times.

      I had been in a bit of a slump for the month of June. Handicap index has slowly risen, and there were few sub-80 scores. Today was a different story at Leslie Park GC. Lots of solid shots, GIR's, up & downs, for a 77 (7.8 differential). As with most rounds, there were a few loose shots and crappy putts, but it was a good day.

      Day 6  (26 Jun 26) - Played 18 today in the Friday men's group shootout.  Would love to say it was an awesome round, but it wasn't  - had a tough day with the putter (especially on the front - short putts missing left or right or just short - just could not get a feel for the greens).
