You pull a trigger on the handle (up the silver shaft) and the guy swings back and forth. So you can putt some small ball with it.

The backpack is really nice and heavy duty, solid quality and construction. The putter headcover is pretty cool..has like a shiny carbon fiber look to it. The hat is unstructured and fits good. I didn't open up the tshirt but looks good as well as does the sticker and lapel pin. I think this "kit" will be worth more than the $93 in a year..probably right now..I sealed it back up..will sell when the kids go to college..lol

Mine is in the mail. I think I'll probably end up using all of my stuff. I'm not much for "collecting" things, though I do need a rack for one putter. For my game room. And that's not so much to collect it as it is just to display it.
