Personal Preference. FOr me, I need a non touch screen keyboard, but the IPhone was a great device while I had it.

I picked one up yesterday after work.. in the Salem, NH Apple Store I waited in line for about 20mins. It was painless to upgrade, I love this new phone!

Anyone know of any 3rd party software that will enable the new iPhone with GPS to function as a yardage finder on the course? Sort of like the SkyCaddie things?

I'm a techno-phobe, so don't even know if it's possible...

Sorry, did my own google search. Looks like a few companies are at it already, but the courses mapped out will be limited compared to the dedicated golf GPS devices...

In Canada they are just too expensive right now, especially if you want a decent plan. I'll wait for a while.

I have it. but I use more as an Ipod that as a phone.

I might buy it from a friend. Im wondering can you jailbreak it and then program it for verizon or do you need a network that has a sim card.

The iPhone won't work on Verizon. The technologies are incompatible. Verizon uses CDMA and the iPhone is GSM.
