My profile says a 12.6 but it has gone up since then. I am around 14 or so. Any idea of some mid to high HDC irons. Also my friend who just started asked me what type of irons for a guy who is new. I was thinking the big berthas but who knows.

Cleveland Launchers LP...great low price and I love them.

Do you have some swing flaws and if so do they help you work through them.

I tend to be over the top once ever 15 swings or so. So nothing to bad but I would like a club that would maybe not hook or slice to bad and still get it up if I hit it a little thin and off plane a tad. BTW thanks for the heads up.

Maybe try some Cobra Irons, the s9's. Im not sure the specs of them but something tells me they are made specifically for seniors :S

I am not a particularly fantastic golfer, not terrible but not amazing either, and I have been playing Nike Slingshot Tours this year, and while they aren't the most forgiving club you'll ever see, they do give you reasonable results on mishits while still allowing for a little workability.

Not that expensive either, I picked up mine around christmas time for I think 400$.

cobra has men's flex, ladies' flex and senior flex. they are not just specifically made for senior.

I tried Cobra FP and they sure are easy to hit. I think the S9 is max-game improvement clubs.

i also suggest cleveland launcher LP, i really like mine. they are a tad offset for people like us that come over the top and slice it. these irons are very easy to get in the air, even when hit thin. when you hit them sweet, it feels like you never even made contact with a ball but your shot flies high and straight. until july 4 TGW.com has them on sale, may want to give them a look. they are real cheap, but if you want something a little nicer, spring for the regular cleveland launcher.
