I want a 48* wedge and the store closest to me has the Cleveland CG11 on sale and this is the wedge I want. But the strongest loft they have in stock is 50*. They said they can bend it to 48* for me...

Is this a good idea or should I order one and wait for it to come in? Is there really any difference?

Thanks!

I say get it bent . I like the fact that it reduces the bounce. Crisper shots baby!

depends on the bounce...if it's a low bounce wedge, then you won't want to bend it. If it's normal, then you have to decide if you don't need the extra 2 degrees of bounce (I would say probably not). If it's high bounce, then you can bend it and it will be normal.

Although, I don't like the design of the CG11's. I still play the 900's. Did you look on ebay for a 48 degree?

I have been looking on ebay... I can get this one fairly quickly if I order it today, though... tough choice...
