Anyone have the name of the best golf course on big island?

I believe that Mauna Kea is the consensus number one. But it ain't the only good one. I've only played Waikoloa (both courses) and they are great. There are also Mauna Lani, Hapuna Beach and Hualalai (which might be a private CC tho) and I'm pretty sure you cannot go wrong at any of those ... And probably several others that I don't know of. PS ... The big island is my favorite. :)

Ive stayed at the hotel, but before i got into golf a few years ago. Its on my list. I want to make sure i hit that one. Good recomend! I love the big I too. Its definately my favorite. Im relatively new to golf... As in only really been excited about it for the last teo years, i played as a kid but it was too stressful. Lol. Now that im in my mid thirties. I can deal with being absolutely rotten and still having fun. :)

There are a few to name but I really enjoyed playing the Mountain course at Kona Country Club. It doesn't get much play because everybody is playing the Ocean course but as a replay (for $35), you should try it.

      Day 18: 2026.01.20 Continuing work on arm raise during backswing. Starting to feel less weird, especially the slower I go. Looking like a busy week so might be the weekend before I can hit some balls.

      It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.

      It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
