I did a bunch of video lessons this last weekend. I'm slowly getting them all edited and produced. Here's the latest one on the grip for the full swing.

Feel free to comment both good or bad.

Equipment, Setup, Finish, Balance, and Relax. All equal in importance and all dependent on each other. They are the cornerstones of a good golf swing.

I'm very glad that you dispelled that "V" approach. That just doesn't work for me. My V's always appeared to be pointing to my left, in a weak position, no matter how strong I gripped the club!! Just the shape of my thumb and index finger I guess.

I like the "top of the wrist" checkpoint as well. I read a little while ago (tried to find the article, but couldn't) to use what is called your "snuffbox" (this is the actual anatomical name). Put your left hand in a position like you are going to shake someone's hand. Point your thumb straight up to the sky...you will notice 2 tendons that raise up, the little pocket between those tendons is your "snuffbox." When taking a neutral grip with the left thumb slightly to the side as you mention, the snuffbox faces directly down the top of the clubshaft. Weak grip- the snuffbox tilts left & points down left side of the shaft and strong grip snuffbox points down the right. Very easy way to assess and check your grip.

Thanks again.
