I understand that with most wedges you can different bounces. I am in the market for two new wedges and need a little help with the bounce.
What is the difference b/t low bounce and high bounce?
I will get a 58* for sure and this will be my sand/lob wedge. For sand is there a preferred bounce?

You'll want standard bounce or high bounce if you have a higher handicap. The low bounce is for players that know how to tell the club what to do and it actually does it.

You want the advantage of the club doing more of the work for you.
In my bag:
Driver: F-Speed 10.5*
Woods: 3 & 5 Rescue Fairway

For most - but not all - sand shots, high bounce is the preference.

For shots from the fairway or rough, low bounce is the preference.

For a 58* try to get one with standard/high bounce. Maybe 8-10*
