Yardage: 6300

Rating: 69.4

Slope 126

Looks easy, but this course can bite you, most of the greens are slightly elevated, and the course sits on some hard ground, with out tall rough the course gets hard and fast and the summer. Meaning if you miss the green, your ball will probably end up 10 yards away after the bounce, and some greens are very hard to hold. Its a decent course, pretty straight forward, nothing overly exciting about it, very little water. But, its cheap to play

      New Maxfli Forged Irons - $800!

      I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.

      Day 150 1-10 focus on arching the wrist and getting the ball to go left. Recorded, hit foam balls.
