In other sports, "knuckle balls" can fly erratically, but if you catch a driver just right so no spin is imparted, I know the ball won't have much loft, but what about left or right movement?

No, you will never hit a ball that has no spin. I know what you're talking about tho, I've hit a few that go out pretty squirrely and seem to be squirming back and forth but they all have spin.
