I'm no wiz with putting, but I think overall you had a good day. Look at it this way, on 14 holes you putted really well. Heck, on 11 holes you had a GIR and 2 putted for a drama free par (if I'm just matching up GIR's and 2 putts). The other one you rolled a single putt it, nice! I have no idea what you were looking at on the 4 holes with 3 and 4 putts, but how were you feeling on them? Were those GIR's? Were you already out of sorts from getting on the green? Of course lessons will help, but don't sell yourself short, your putting numbers from this round indicate that you aren't flailing around out there.

Ouch. 11 greens and 40 putts. That'll leave a mark! It happens. Take the positive and put the negative behind you. 11 greens is outstanding. You could have easily been in the low 70's. That's what you need to take out to the course with you next time!

oh yes i ll take positives out of the game.two of them 3 putt holes were from about 12 feet for birdies.

The only thing worse than a 3-putt bogie, is a 3-putt par! ;-)

3 putts stink for sure, but you gotta like birdies more than you hate 3 putts if you wanna take it deep. If I worry too much about 3 putts i can't make anything and it messes with my putting. i just try to bang em in and take my 3 putts occasionally.
