Winter Golf Balls

Winter has been pretty tough in Western Pennsylvania this year with snow and cold temperatures. I played Friday in 43° weather and had inconsistent distances with the ball I used (Pro V1).

Can anyone recommend a good cold weather ball?

Although I have never done this, I'm told a good ball to play in the cold is a lady's golf ball. They are suppose to be softer so when it is cold they play better. Maybe someone else has tried it and can comment? I just wouldn't use a Pink ball.

Just about every company makes a lower compression ball that works better for most people in cold weather.

(And in warm weather for slower club head speeds).

Titleist DT SO LO, Bridgestone E6, Titleist NXT Tour, ect.

Plenty of good low compresion balls with different feel characteristics and compressions and, yes, most of the ladies balls if you don't mind the stigma.
