Just wondering if anyone had any advice on whether I should buy the rbz driver. I'm after a new one and quite Fancy it. I play off 15. Cheers

Original RBZ driver was a bit long in the shaft. Last year, I spent a half hour testing an R.flex, 10.5* RBZ driver against a 10.5* R.flex Cleveland Classic 290 gr. driver.

The RBZ was all over the place. With impact tape, I had a shot oval over the heel-third of the face, and a shot oval over the toe-third of the face. Nothing dead center. Club fitters tell us that "spraying" often indicates too long a shaft.

The Classic, on the other hand, worked quite nicely. I got a dispersion pattern mostly on the center third of the face. After a few shots, Trackman plotted me in fairway or first-cut on my shots. I also found the Classic easier to "line up" after a few shots.

Also, check to see if standard RBZ driver has a draw bias. The RBZ FWs and Hs do.

Focus, connect and follow through!

Try drivers, and buy what feels best. I personally like a longer driver shaft. 46" feels perfect, but i'm 6'4. But in all drivers now, its more about the shaft than the head. All the heads meet the COI and have huge 'sweet spots' now. Its about finding the right shafts for your game, which made a big change in my driver and woods. This summer, I'll be reshafting my Ci11's, to see what difference that makes.

In other words, get fitted and buy what feels and performs best.
