City Tourney this weekend!

I'm pumped. I've been playing the best golf I've played in 7 or 8 years the last 3 weeks if you throw-out my jeckyl-hyde round (48-37) last Sunday.

It's not a handicap tourney, it's flighted after day one. I know there'll be some sandbaggers, but I want to go out and shoot my 2 best rounds back to back, damn the sandbaggers. Championship and 1st flights will tee it up from the blues on Sunday, I'm hoping an 80-82 will get me in the 1st flight.

If I can dish out a little advice, remember: It's just golf, a fun game to play. Don't worry about what the others in your group are doing. Play the best you can play for the day, don't stress on your score.

Thanks for the advice. That is always one of my bigger issues when on the course. Fortunately round 1 is with a foursome of buddies. Round 2 is flighted. My goal is to play my game, and not worry about anything else.

well I shot a 91 today in practice from the blues.......just to many f'ups that turned into doubles........hopefully I got rid of all the bad shots today.....

88 today. 42-46. The worst back I've had all year. 2p's on the front and 40 putts! Needless to say I'm disappointed.

well I came back on Sunday with a 91. Very dissapointing. was getting it going wityh a Bird on #5 to bring me back to +2 and then carded a 9 on #6. The wheels fell of at that point. I'm gonna take a week or so off.
