hi guys,

i was told that i  try to hinge my wrists by force rather than let it naturally.

can anyone give me tips on fixing this?

thanks

replying to my own post cuz i cant edit for some reasons :S

i've also got different views on wrist cock, one saying that you should naturally let it hinge and others saying the opposite

depends on the player, its not a hard requirement in the golf swing. Some golfers, like Tiger in the early 2000's hinged later. I believe this was how Butch Harmon taught width in the golf swing. Some golfers hinge earlier in the backswing. Find what works for you.

Grip pressure. With lighter grip pressure the club will hinge naturally. Grip it tighter and you will have to consciously decide when to hinge. I prefer not having to think about it. I just make sure I keep the same grip pressure through impact.

Great advice. There is a reason Jack once told Greg " Good luck and good grip pressure" ( or so I read once)
