Im an expat Brit & recent new US citizen residing in San Francisco. Living the dream of 365 days a year golfing weather - no more winter mats or snow to worry about. Take my golf seriously, some would say to seriously (the wife) but Its a hobby/addiction/compulsion and I love it. With so many courses in Northern California I do not belong to a club and prefer spending my time flitting from course to course. TPC Harding Park is just around the corner from me, and with a residents card the $62 is a steal. Look forward to meeting people in threads and so far I'm enjoying the conversations.

Welcome, the weather is horrible today isn't it.

You live out in the Avenues and fogged in? I'm in Dogpatch / Protrero Hill and the sun is out and it has been glorious all day.

No, Noe Valley.  It is gorgeous out.  I went to high school right next to Harding and some days the weather would be completely different from my house to my high school.  I guess you are closer to the courses in the Sunset but Protrero Hill / Mission has the best weather in the city.  I must say that between Harding the two Olympic courses and Cal club this has to be the best collection of quality courses in one area of a small city.

Did you go to Lincoln or SI?

Nice all the way from Pacifica to Santa Clara today. I love all the courses around here even the ones that are not always in good shape such as sharp park.

Sat at my desk trying to figure out how I can get out in the 80's plus temp without alerting people to my lack of availability.

Im thinking a pm round at Metropolitan / Monarch bay or I may even venture up to San Geronimo.

Do you work in the East Bay? If so, you can't really go wrong with Metro or Monarch, especially if there's not much wind out there. I do prefer Monarch though. Haven't played San Geronimo so I can't really comment on that.

Ryan

I prefer Monarch, but I'm trying to like Metro more. San Geronimo is a nice little course and it's quite a mean little track too. You should try it.
