Was never a real fan of Phil. He had skill but always seemed to rub me the wrong way with his arrogance. I also heard he owed Bones a tone of money from tournament purses and that’s part of the reason they split. Then his on course BS (US Open hitting a moving putt) and gambling really got me turned on him. Sad excuse of a human now. -
Day 51 (yesterday was 50, not 59 -- that was a typo). I didn't have a ton of time today. I hit a dozen balls with a 6-iron in my practice room. Amazingly, after this I did the ShotScope analysis of yesterday's round; my approach play was at the 5 hcp level. That's pretty darn good, but unfortunately for my score, some of that came from hitting a few good recovery shots. But I also hit some really good approach shots that weren't from trouble!
