Calling all leftys !!!

11 posts in this topic

I am currently looking for new irons to buy, however, being left handed hinders me from testing different brands.  I was wondering if what you other lefty's do in this situation.  I'd like to buy a set of cobra irons but nobody ever has them in lefty.

I just purchased a 50 degree mizuno wedge without testing because I needed one and the reviews were good.

Any thoughts ?

I'm a lefty and don't really encounter this problem... Most stores have quite a few lefty sets where I am...

Same here, but there might not be in some places.

I just tested a few irons at the local shop then purchase the same exact set online.. only used. Global golf usually has a good selection.

It's a pain being lefty.

There is a website dedicated to us, but I do not know anything about the evaluation process.

Ah that's not good. There's gotta be something close that has other brands no? Unless you're tucked away in a remote area?

Im gonna check that website out and see what it is

No I'm located in a good area and every store I go to basically only carries ping and TM as far as Irons go... I can usually find some other drivers but that's it

Come to Canada, they have a lot of lefty-players and lefty clubs! :)

All joking aside, most of the brands I've tested have full sets, right and left, available for testing. Some of the specialty clubs (gap wedge, lob wedge) they don't have, but that's pretty rare.
