i am the same as the OP, but in softball.

i mash the ball and i mean i can pick any area of the field to hit my shots, or just jack it 350+ with out batting an eyelash.

i did this within 3 months of picking up my first bat.

i also pitch and have had 8 shut outs in slow pitch softball.

i will post a video shortly from my softball board where i basically rule the paltry newbs from that board :)

JK i suck at this game

I would guess that you could really crush the ball off a drive though. ;-)).

I hope the OP doesn't post a video of Jamie Sadlowski by accident. Bahaha.

I think the OP has achieved what he set out to do. Three pages of discussion already, and he is long gone, probably laughing his ass off. The thread should be locked.

Check out a video I put in a previous post.

It shows a fellow named "Gorilla James", who is a really long hitter. I think he also hits about what the OP stated he hits (or more).

I was watching a few more videos of him and a few other golfers playing a round together. It appears that that kind of distance lands you in the woods much more often than the reasonable 200 to 275 yard drive.

Most average length public courses aren't designed for guys driving it well over 300 yards on every hole, even from the back tees.  I don't drive it nearly that far, but I find myself pulling driver only 10-12 times a round.  Sometimes as few as 6-8 times per round, if the course plays shorter for any number of reasons.

    • It's not. 🤣 It's over 90 seconds into a 5-minute video before they say anything about physics, and when they do, they talk about mastering the double pendulum with a definition that includes gravity or something. Here, @GreenhornGolfer and others: https://amzn.to/3IHnf0N. Buy that.
    • Barring a disaster, this will be Scheffler's fourth major and only missing the US Open for a career slam.
    • Have slowly been working on hooding my long irons less. Using a much more neutral grip and a feel of swinging above the waist. This was the 2nd swing today. A clean clip with a 4-iron with what seems like an okay centered pivot and decent balanced finish.
    • Nobody is getting close and Scottie is not letting them. BDC could've had a shot without that awful Thursday. He shot 16 under on the last three days.
