So Stupid question guys lol....

I've been contemplating either buying new irons ( graphite shafts ) or just having my current irons re-shafted with graphite...

Well @ one of the local courses tonight i asked one of the guys working there if he knew of anyone who did reshafting, and he said yup!! lol   and then said i should talk to the PGA Pro and he'd do a free fitting for me..

I guess i am curious as to what they do to clubs to get them fitted to me...

Now my clubs are hand me downs from my brother and on the way home i'm thinking since he is about 5'6, and I am 6ft.. if he got these irons fitted for himself, that could be why i hit them so crappy....

It is what it is

I would highly recommend getting them, or a new set, fitted for you. If they are standard clubs and not custom fitted they should be fine for you.

As far as getting clubs fitted goes, it's a very easy process. A PGA professional should be able to analyze your swing and take some measurements to decide if the length needs to be adjusted.
