Please, no laffs.  I need some new grips and 'core size' is one of the choices, in addition to outer diameter, color, etc.  But how do i know if i am 0.580 or 0.60 core?  These mostly for my irons, Maxfli Revolutions with FCM 6.0 Rifle shafts.  Currently have Tour Velvet wrap grips but i do not see this style  available now. The wrap feature seems gone.

Core size applies to the grip itself.  Shafts can vary, but you can look up the shaft butt size to find that out.  If you use a smaller core size grip, it effectively makes the grip a bit bigger when applied to your club.  the grips themselves have the same thickness from the inside core diameter to the outside diameter.  So squeezing a smaller core grip on your club stretches the grip more making the final outside diameter bigger.

Example:

Shaft = .600"

Core .600 grip would give you a standard grip

Core .580 would give you a slightly larger grip, +1/64".
