Ive recently developed my own rendition of the famous Kuchar Arm Lock Putting style, was just curious if anybody else uses some form of arm lock putting and how you like it and why!

I got to hit some putts with Odyssey's arm lock putter when we visited Callaway and I kinda liked it.  Length was too long but would be open to experimenting with one.  Just got to make sure you have enough loft, like 7-8 degrees.

If you use your lead forearm yes you need a lot of loft, but I actually use my back forearm, since I'm right handed I feel like I have more control using my right forearm to support and guide the club since its my stronger arm, this also keeps the grip and head in the same position as traditional putting without any adjustments, I basically hold the club claw style but with my left hand putting pressure on the grip into my forearm to maximize control. This style eliminates all possibility of rotating the forearms or hinging the wrists. I've never seen anyone else do it this way but I absolutely love it, my putting has never been so good and it adheres to the new rulings starting in 2016

    • Scottie Scheffler sidelined with wound to palm of right hand - ESPN Scottie Scheffler, the reigning PGA Tour Player of the Year after winning seven times in 2024, suffered a puncture wound to the palm of his right hand from a broken glass while preparing Christmas dinner, and had... You can read the synopsis there, but basically… he punctured his hand making Christmas dinner and had a minor surgery.
    • Day 163: played 18 - a decent 78 considering I haven't practiced much putting or short game. Also did a stack session.
    • Two things… QuadMAX Comparison I conducted a test with the R50 against a QuadMAX. I just did ball data, as getting club data on both simultaneously proved difficult. But, I was able to work around the conflicting IR signals or whatever others were experiencing. I'll make a video eventually, but the short-term info is that the R50 was really, really close in VLA, ball speed, total spin, carry, peak height (the last two are just algorithms of course). It was decent at HLA and spin axis.   R50 Club Impact Video Is anyone else as annoyed as I am that the video includes like one or two frames of impact and after, with like six frames before impact? The before impact stuff isn't all that useful - and the after impact stuff isn't enough to see the club twisting much except on egregious heel or toe mishits.
