Most notably during practice swings, I have noticed there is a jerky spot a little beyond the impact point where it feels like my swing has bottomed out. It seems like it occurs at the transition from the straight left arm to the straight right arm and/or turning my hands over. I suppose it could be due to the lack of resistance in a practice swing, and I’m not trying to fix a practice swing, but I wonder if it is normal, or on the other hand, undesirable and translating into live swings. If the latter, I wonder how to fix it, (Will be posting swing video.)

I can't imagine it is "normal."  When I have a good swing it feels effortless and balanced with no jerkiness. If I had to guess, you're body is fighting the club somehow. Maybe it's a path problem, maybe you're arms are separating in your follow through (think chicken wing.)

Hard to say without seeing a swing. You should video and post on the My Swing thread.
