Anyone ever played this? It started in New Zealand, and looks like it has been played in Europe and South America. You play it with your regular set of clubs, minus the putter. The ball is shaped like a football, about the same as a regular ball and with dimples. You tee it up like a football, and they claim that it will always go straight unless you tee it at an angle. No putting, no greens - you hit into a target net, making it possible to hole out from the fairway more often. I was given the well-illustrated book and a ball the other day, and thought of it as pretty crazy. But it appears that there are many "down under" that enjoy this game. Take a look at there website - anyone ever played "Golf Cross"?
