The Mack is back with the introduction of the new Callaway Mack Daddy 2 Wedges, but is the new version as good as the original?

I played a couple weeks ago with a loaned set from a club pro.  He had the Mack Daddy 2's.  (My current wedges are Mizuno JPX wedges because they were on sale when I was shopping - my criteria was to get a good spacing of 100% swing distances).

Let's just say I REALLY like these MD2's and the very aggressive face.  They'd fly nice and land about the same as my Mizuno's on 90% and 100% swings.

BUT - If I'd 'lean on' them a little, my Mizunos fly the same but go a little farther like my normal irons.  The MD2's were entirely different.  With that 'extra' in the release on the MD2's, the ball would leave a little lower (probably my swing, not the club), but they's make a blatant 'whizzing' noise as they left and then they'd dive really hard a little shorter than full swing.  Serious spin there.  I can see how the good players can get a lot more options with good wedges.

I'd like a set of more aggressive wedges now please - .....waiting for sales.
