I seem to not get as high trajectory on my mid and short irons as I would like to. I am hitting down on the ball but it seems to stay lower. I do lean the shaft slightly forward in my swing and take a divot, but it doesn't seem to want to launch into the air. Are there any tips or drills for me to correct this?

Usually use NXT Extreme's or HX Hot's

Sounds almost like your hitting knock down shots. Makes sure you have the ball in the middle of your stance...it helped me out a ton when my ball flight was too low.

I know this seems foolish.. but just stop.

Leaning the shaft too far forward delofts the club. It's LOFT that gets the ball airborn. Spin just keeps it airborn.

Equipment, Setup, Finish, Balance, and Relax. All equal in importance and all dependent on each other. They are the cornerstones of a good golf swing.

Put the ball to the front of your foot, thats all i do and I get insane height its almost too much. Just inside your front foot.
