golf gloves wear out too soon

A couple guys have said this.  Maybe you live places where it's almost never hot?  Or maybe you just naturally don't sweat much?  I love hitting with no glove, but unless it's cold enough that my hands don't sweat and warm enough that my hands don't go numb, either my hands get very slippery from sweat or they're numb :-P  For me that's a VERY small range of temperatures!

I have to wear both gloves to protect my hands.  I have a bit of arthritis and can use the gloves.  I change grips often - do them myself to save $$$.

Id say you are gripping the club wrong. If its wearing out on the upper part of the palm, you are gripping too high up on the club.  I play 2-3 times a week and the glove I currently have is almost a year old and is just starting to show signs of wear.

Being in the glove business we see this a lot. It is very important to purchase a glove that fits properly. A glove that is too big will cause more friction in the palm due to too much leather to bunch up between your hand and grips.
